Hematoma sublingual espontáneo secundario a terapia anticoagulante con warfarina

Resumen
Las complicaciones hemorrágicas en la terapia anticoagulante oral son frecuentes. Los hematomas sublinguales espontáneos secundarios a los anticoagulantes son una complicación extremadamente inusual que es potencialmente letal. El estudio informa un caso de un paciente en terapia de anticoagulación con warfarina que desarrolla un hematoma sublingual espontáneo masivo con obstrucción de las vías respiratorias altas y paro cardíaco, donde se usó ventilación con catéter transtraqueal de emergencia.
