Abstract

On September 15, 2014, Law No. 19,286 was passed, which approved the Code of Ethics of the Medical College of Uruguay (CMU). It will be a date remembered by the medical profession, but its significance reaches the whole of Uruguayan society, for which the health and practice of Medicine are the subject of particular attention.
