Conscience and ethics under administrative law

Abstract

In Montevideo, on August 14, 2014, in the “Alonso Justo and others against Executive Power” vehicles, the judgment (and therefore the demand) of the Contentious Administrative Court (TCA) that has taken public status was known.
The signatories went to the Court requesting the suspension of the execution of several articles of Decree 375/012 (1) that regulates Law 18987 (2) (law that decriminalizes voluntary abortion), alleging that the application of these articles (of the regulatory decree ) brings "serious damage" consequences.
There are 18 signatories that, regardless of the number, attract attention that among them are gynecologists partners of the Gynecology Society of Uruguay (SGU) and teachers of the Faculty of Medicine, including full professors and attachments, and a delegate to FIGO ( International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics).
The TCA temporarily suspended the execution of all requested items except one (30).
