Chemotherapy use in renal failure

Abstract

Chemotherapy prescription in patients with renal impairment function is a challenge to oncologists due to new cytotoxic drugs, chemotherapy’s boundaries and the frequent overvaluation of absorbtion, transmutation and drug release.
Posology adjustment is needed when glomerular filtration is lower than 50 ml/min and for antineoplasic drugs with primary renal excretion.
The aim of the paper is to review literature about chemootherapy in neoplasic patients with renal failure.
